Context
The traditional images that eye doctors take with a slit-lamp can’t be adequately shared with the patients themselves or with other specialists for further consultation purposes.
Objective
Provide assistance for the taking of photos/videos with a slit-lamp, which can then be shared with others for further consultation/deliberation purposes.
Functionalities
- The physician simply slides the iPhone into the universal mount.
- The physician takes the photo/video of the eye in order to make a diagnosis.
- The physician can assign the images to a patient and add notes, after which they can be easily shared with other specialists.
- The physician can discuss the diagnosis via an inbuilt chat function.
